The Villa started life as a beautiful Victorian gentleman’s residence and has successfully retained much of its character, the interior having been tastefully decorated, retaining much of the original charm. It is described as quite simply delightful.
The Villa Country House Hotel offers you a stunning location in beautiful grounds surrounded by meadowland. Here we actively seek to make your day or weekend as personal to you as we possibly can.

Stewart McIntosh, General Manager is on hand to lend you his years of experience covering every detail from the initial planning to the day itself, ensuring you and your guest’s memories are cherished in the years to come.
On the day, we guide you through each stage so that all you need to do is enjoy yourselves.
We have facilities for Ceremonies for up to 60 guests, the Restaurant can hold up to 100 for a wedding breakfast , the maximum for an evening party is 150+ and we have 25 luxurious modern bedrooms.
One unique feature at the Villa is our exterior wood-burning stove, which can be used in conjunction with our large BBQ to provide a welcoming pre-wedding meal, the evening food for a summers party or even the main course for the wedding breakfast.
